Scenes from previous Festivals

Beth Musselwhite and friends at one of the Festival displays.

If you couldn't find something to tantalize your taste buds, maybe it would find YOU!

Just profilin' for the camera!

Commissioner Bill Herndon, Everett Davis, and Sheriff Maynor enjoy Mountaire Chicken Bogg Tent.

Scottish Heritage always includes a good-sounding bagpipe tune!

TR REID & THE BOYS provide awesome Bluegrass selections to kick off festival.

A young festivalgoer considers the size pot it would take to cook THIS chicken!

Children found PLENTY to keep them busy all day long!

Danger lurks around every corner for the Mountaire Chicken Mascot (from HUNGRY Festival attendees!)

An authentic Civil War encampment was another of the sights awaiting the crowds.

Town Manager Kerry McDuffie hopes for a wide and high pitch to avoid another bath in the dunking booth! On second thought, high and wide would be right between the eyes...  better just get wet!

A group of young Cloggers entertains the folks.

The photographer avoided serious injury as the Festival Committee just misses him!  (Should have been the STEERING COMMITTEE driving!)

Hot-Air Balloon rides were one of the more exciting features of this years' festival.  (Good thing Giggles the Clown didn't try twisting THIS balloon into an umbrella!)

We have a WINNER!  Jill Livingston gets excited to learn she is the Balloon Ride Winner!  (NERVOUS ANTICIPATION???)

Giggles The Clown didn't need the umbrella on this day!   Beautiful weather made for sunny smiles.

Why do they always ask you how the food is just after you put a big ol' bite of it in your mouth???  MMMMMM  DEEELICIOUS!

Another sort of Balloon ride for a young lady.

Volunteers help get the Balloon ready to lift off. (Now HUFF & PUFF until you fill it up!)

Another Elvis sighting brings smiles to the crowd as Jimmy Horne belts out a tune.

Young participants had lots to enjoy and a great day to do it!

Who says you have to be over 4' tall to work here???

"Honey, would you bring me a quilt, I'm chilly." "Just a minute, it's almost finished!" Original Quilt designs by Missouri Oxendine created right in front of your eyes.

Don't look now, but the world's LARGEST GI JOE is right behind you!  (Actually, it's just one of the many local mascots attending the festival, WHEW!)

Is it Alan Jackson?  Travis Tritt? "I KNOW it ain't Willie Nelson!" Nope, just good 'ol Mr. Hagman beltin' out a few tunes for the fans.....

Soap-making the old-fashioned way... brings a new meaning to "go wash your hands!"

No, we aren't in Tokyo, and that's not Godzilla! Kids enjoy a BIG HUG from another area team Mascot...

The Mountaire Farms Super Chicken sharing a few "Cluckles" with a young fellow... Hate to think how much a pair of shoes would cost for THOSE FEET!

Authentic Native Dances on display for admiring crowds.

Myra Jones and Ann Jackson relaxing (for a minute)!

Native American arts and crafts on sale at one of the many boothes located throughout the Festival

Kenny Shore, of Raleigh, NC entertains festival attendees with folkabillyhits!  Thanks Kenny!!!
